Behind the art

Hi! I'm Uxue, a digital artist from the Basque Country, specialized in Character Design and Illustration. Merch artist by day, storyteller by night.

My art journey started thanks to my love for cartoons. I used to spend whole afternoons sitting in front of the TV and watching my favorite shows while copying their characters. At 12 I decided to create my own and gave them stories. This led to art becoming my biggest passion and in 2015 I got into a Digital Art and Animation Degree. Graduate since 2019.

I'm in love with nature and animals, mostly forests and any kind of plants. They're a big inspiration for my work. I also enjoy fantasy, spring and going on hikes.

I'm currently studying a Masters in 3D animation.
