Hi and welcome to my blog!

My name is Uxue, I'm a Character Designer and Illustrator from Spain, with a BFA degree in Digital Art and Animation.

Even if art has always been present in my family, I started considering it as a posible career path thanks to my love for cartoons. I spent all my afternoons drawing in front of the TV and imititating those characters I loved so much. In 2015 I started my education as an animator and digital artist for videogames and films, and graduated four years later (after endless work, projects, hours in front of computers and some occasional tears too).

Later that year, I got my first job as a Production Assitant for a new animation company close to my hometown. I didn't get to draw, as I really wanted, but I learnt lots of things about the organization and production of an animation series from the inside. Sadly, the project endeed in September 2020 and I've been looking for a new job since then.

But that doesn't mean I've stopped drawing!
